BEAT SHOP STARTER COURSE
The Beat Shop Starter Course is a three-week crash course to making Hip Hop/ Trap Style beats. Students will learn the basics of Electronic Music Production using FL Studio Software. The Starter Course will end with a Beat Making Competition between the participants.
Start Dates: Sept 12th, 2022 and Oct 21st, 2022
4pm – 7pm
Mondays – Thursday
Enrollment limit – 10 Students
STYLE SHOP STARTER COURSE
The Style Shop Starter Course is a three-week crash course in sewing and styling. Students will learn the fundamentals of sewing and styling, how to operate a sewing machine and the basics of sewing using a checklist designed specifically for them. The Starter Course will end with a sewing challenge between the qualifying participants. All equipment and supplies are provided for this class.

DANCE SHOP STARTER COURSE
The Dance Shop Starter Course is a three-week crash course in Dance. Students will learn the fundamentals of Hip-Hop and Modern Dance.

The Media Shop Starter Course is a three-week crash course in Visual Media. Students will learn the fundamentals of Video Recording and Editing..

- Workshop Houston Starter Courses are FREE and open to students entering 6th to 8th grade.
Space is limited - Enrollment is open to all Houston Area students but priority placement is given to students living in East End, Greater Third Ward, South Park, and Sunnyside Neighborhoods.
- Applications are accepted on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.
- We will let you know the results of your application by June 10th.
