Campus
Thanks to the dedication and hard work of many generous community members, Workshop Houston successfully completed its $1.9 million Empowerment through Creativity capital campaign and is building its new campus!
After years of resourcefully stretching an undersized and aging building, Workshop Houston will finally be able to provide at-risk students with the facilities they deserve to pursue their study of music, dance, fashion design, and academics. The Empowerment through Creativity campus serves an evolutionary leap forward in the agency’s decade-plus history of service to the community. Our new home in the heart of Third Ward will finally be a place that matches the ambition, creativity, innovativeness, and brilliance that our teenage participants bring to their work.
The new campus is supported with lead gifts from the Brown Foundation, Kinder Foundation, Elkins Foundation, Mabee Foundation, Fondren Foundation, and many other philanthropic souls.
Thank you to everyone who has helped make this dream a reality. We can’t wait to share the new campus with our students and with you!
