Thanks to the generosity of community members like you, hundreds of young people have learned new skills, built relationships with supportive role models and found engaging, creative ways to connect to the importance of education at Workshop Houston. Today, because of the dedication of caring individuals like you, Workshop Houston is now able to support these students better than ever – in 2008, we completely renovated the second of our three buildings and this summer all five of Workshop Houston’s programs opened permanently on our campus. This has brought the exciting multidisciplinary environment at Workshop Houston to the next level as center of arts and community for our students and the Third Ward at large.
In 2009, Workshop Houston is celebrating five years of providing creative, technical and educational resources to the youth of Third Ward. With your help, Workshop Houston will be able to bring even more enriching and innovative activities our students and the community for five more years and beyond!
