Each afternoon, our youth come to Workshop Houston to engage in enriching creative, technical, and educational programs, thanks to the contributions of supporters like you. Your donation, no matter what size, makes an important impact on the lives of our participants.

Workshop Houston is a 501 c3 non-profit organization (Tax ID 57-1187967) and your financial contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Workshop Houston does not publish, sell, trade, rent or share our donors’ names (except to acknowledge donors in Workshop Houston’s literature and website), e-mail or mail addresses, or telephone numbers. If you choose to make a contribution, we will send you correspondence and add you our mailing list so that you can stay informed and involved in what’s going on at Workshop Houston. If you do not wish to be on our mailing list and/or prefer to donate anonymously, please indicate this in the “special notes” section of your online donation or with a note included with your check.

​​​​Some of the ways your support makes a difference include:

$35

Provides the supplies for an introductory sewing project in the Style Shop, including fabric, sewing supplies, and other materials.

$60

Provides food and drinks for students on one of our community Fridays. These weekly chillouts give students a chance to share their projects, bond with their peers and instructors, and have fun together as a group.

$100

Pays for a month’s worth of school and project supplies for students in the Scholar Shop.

$250

Provides rehearsal and performance outfits for 5 students in the Dance Shop.

$500

Allows Workshop Houston to buy the professional software students in our Beat Shop use to create their own songs and albums.

$1000

Provides accommodations for our students during our annual summer out-of-town trip which is the culmination of our eight-week summer session. Past destinations have included San Antonio, Austin, and New Orleans.
