Another Solar Milestone!

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

The great thing about our solar array is that it just keeps on creating electricity without us needing to do anything, helping to keep our operating costs low.  We recently passed 3500 kilowatt hours created in a little over a year of operation.  Check out our Solar page for more information . . .

Solar Array generates 2500th kilowatt hour of Electricity!!

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

Since January, our Photovoltaic array has been cranking out electricity whenever the sun is shining. We recently created our 2500th kilowatt hour of electricity.  To create this much electricity, a conventional power station would need to burn 1 ton (2000 lbs) of coal and emit over 4000 lbs of CO2!

For more about the array, check out our Solar site here.
