Lots happening in Chopper.  Muktar’s working on a complete frame build and Pedro is building a sidecar for his chopper.  Newcomers Juan, Yasin, and Enrique are flying through the beginner projects.  And we’re all working on a pretty cool project as yet unannounced, so stay tuned!

It’s been a hectic week in Style Shop! As we introduce many brand-new students to the concepts of sewing, drawing,

and screen printing, many of our returning students have jumped back into using Photoshop. With just a little refresher in the concepts and ideas behind using such a complex computer program, students have been able to create their own one-of-a-kind images.

We don’t stop there, though. The next step is to take these images and use them to create truly unique articles of clothing. Check out Halima and her design creations here!

“The field trips I’ve been on with Workshop Houston have been awesome. We have been to the aquarium; it was cool because we were exploring wonders with different types of creatures.  We have also been camping during the summer.  I had to explore inside a cold cave, all scary and slippery.  We also climbed the enchanted rock.
