Bike Shop hours altered for Spring Pop Up!
Monday, March 21st, 2011The Bike Shop will be closed on Friday, April 1 to prepare for the Spring Pop Up!
Saturday is the party, so please come out and join us, but we won’t be fixing bikes.

Yesterday the Beat Shop was lucky enough to have a special workshop in scratching and mixing records from DJ KleanCutt (pictured above) and DJ Elroy of the Kracker Nuttz! This is one of several collaborations between the Kracker Nuttz and the Beat Shop in preparation for our upcoming Spring Pop-Up on April 2. Big thanks to Kleancutt, Elroy, and all the Kracker Nuttz!

Martin, Chopper Shop Alumni
Workshop Houston just had a surprise visit from Martin, a middle school participant from the first Chopper Shop we ran in 2004! Martin is now 21 and pursuing his degree. After completing school he will begin training to become a police officer. In the meantime, he’s fixing up two vintage Ford trucks. It was great to see him!
